Most of our gates are made to order, whether that be steel, aluminium or wood. The automation equipment is specified along with access and security controls.

Swing Gates

Our swing gates can be teamed with either articulated arm operators or underground hydraulics, and we can open the gates inwards or out depending on our project managers survey. All of the automatic swing gates we have installed or have been upgraded by Rossells will be fitted with relevant safety devices to comply with BS 12453:2017, and for any industrial and commercial sites, Rossells can supply 100% duty rated industrial swing gates.

Pedestrian Gates

Often matching the fully automated pedestrian gate with the main vehicular gate, we can greatly increase the security and accessibility options to your property. We rarely automate pedestrian gates on sliding gate installs as we can programme the motor to use the partially open setting which is designed for providing a smaller pedestrian width opening.

Sliding Gates

If you have limited space at the entrance of your property then a sliding gate might be the perfect solution for you. We have seen a steep increase in popularity of the sliding gate, and this is due to the added security these gates bring and the fact they only need a single motor which can make them less expensive to automate.

Manual Access Barriers

Manual Barriers are a cost effective, and low maintenance way of controlling access onto your property. We can install them on openings with a span of up to 9m and we can fit a fixed or adjustable end rest which can be locked in either the open or closed position. These barriers are made from Aluminium and are virtually maintenance free. We would typically use these on sites that don’t have a high volume of traffic.

Cantilever Gates

Much like the sliding gate, we have also seen the cantilever gate rise in popularity much for the same reasons and the sliding gate, but these don’t require a track to be used. This is great for any uneven surfaces or gravel gate entrances.

Rising Arm Barrier

Automated Barriers are the most wide spread methods for controlling in and out parking facilities and helping to manage traffic flow. They are not necessarily designed to provide security, and they will not withstand impact like a gate would.

If high level security is what you are looking for then Swing or Sliding Gates are where would direct your enquiry.

Many city based companies with big car parks often use barriers to stop unwanted shoppers parking for convenience.

Turnstiles and Speed Gates are an excellent security solution for anyone wishing to control pedestrian traffic flow safely into their business premises. Turnstiles and Speed Gates have many applications like; access control to the entrance of a building,

Rossells can install a range of internal and external turnstiles, designed to the highest quality to ensure we’re giving you the most secure premises possible. Our range of turnstiles are designed to work as a half-height or full height gate, they are designed to have a long lifecycle and come with a service/maintenance agreement, to give our customers the assurance that we will maintain the peak condition of all their security solutions.

Most pedestrian speed gates are installed to control pedestrian access at speed and help to prevent tailgating, without the need for the mechanical turnstile arm. Rossells can install multiple lanes side by side to enhance speed of access and they can be connected to virtually all existing Fire Alarm systems to allow unrestricted access and egress in the event of an emergency. We can install a range of Access Control products in conjunction with the speed gates or turnstiles, these can be new systems or expansions on to a system you may already be using.

Part of our on-site survey, we will look at many factors including the layout of the building, size of the entrance into the building, and number of average users to determine the most suitable security solution for your business. Rossells can also ensure that the turnstiles will DDA compliant.
